How well do you know yourself?

Have you ever even thought about that question before? I know that many of you will have completed some for of personality profile, such as a DISC assessment, and potentially found it helpful, inspiring, or in some cases quite upsetting.

Aristotle said that, “Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom”, and I totally agree. We are all constantly thinking thoughts, and the vast majority of them going unnoticed… they happen in the background and drive our lives and our decisions.

Take some time out in the festive season from working IN your business (fighting fires, reacting to in-the-moment concerns) and think deeply about these questions:

1) What motivates me, honestly?
2) What are my top values?
3) What do I believe about myself that helps me to succeed?
4) What beliefs do I have which hold me back?
5) How do those who know me well describe me to others?
6) What are my biggest dreams and goals in life?
7) What do I need to change within myself to achieve those dreams?

I LOVE having conversations like this with people – in fact this was the them for today’s ActionCLUB group, with some incredibly raw and emotional moments shared within the group. Why? Because you CANNOT separate our business lives from our personal lives. They MUST be aligned.

If anyone would like to have a conversation around all this, I’d love to chat and help you discover whether the biggest thing holding your business back, is actually you… Get in touch and I’d be over the moon to have a chance to speak with you.
